GATE ACCESS & FAMILY DATA SHEET (FDS)
If you have changes to either your contact information, or your family or vehicle information, please contact your Block Captain as soon as possible. They will update your Family Data Sheet (FDS) to ensure that we can reach you and so that you have uninterrupted gate access to the community.
BLOCK CAPTAINS
Check the block captain list for any changes to your point of contact in the community. Your block captain will also be your contact for verifying any updates to your Family Data Sheet.

Bulky Items/Applicances
Place bulky items by the curb and call the Waste Pro office to request a special collection.
Hazardous Materials
Hazardous waste includes ignitable, combustible, corrosive, reactive, explosive, and toxic materials. These items must be taken to the Lee County Household Chemical Waste Collection Facility located at 6441 Topaz Court in Fort Myers. Items such as electronics, petroleum products, paint, and florescent bulbs are considered hazardous materials. Please do not place such items in your regular trash.
Yard Waste
You must bundle and tie loose items or place them in brown paper bags (available for purchase from local stores, plastic bags are not permitted) or containers with a weatherproof lid and handles on both sides. Palm fronds can be unbundled, but must be less than 6 feet long and weigh less than 50 lbs. as a whole. If they weigh more than 50 lbs. or are longer than 6 feet, they must be cut and/or tied into bundles of no more than 50 lbs and 6 feet in length.

ANNUAL HOA ASSESSMENTS
The HOA yearly assessment and the directed assessment for golf course purchase debt retirement are collected annually.

CONTRACTORS WORK HOURS:
Contractors and sub-contractors (workers for hire) are allowed to perform work in the community only between the hours of 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and between the hours of 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM on Saturdays. No contractor work is allowed on Sundays or national holidays.
DEED RESTRICTIONS
Cape Royal is a deed-restricted community. Adherence to our policies helps keep our community a beautiful and enjoyable place to live. A summary of the deed restrictions is included in the list of documents.
REMODELING, LANDSCAPING, PAINTING
If you are considering remodeling or painting the exterior of your home, you will need to work with the Architectural Review Board (ARB) for approval. Links to appropriate forms, as well as an FAQ link, are provided at the left.
RENTAL POLICY
Cape Royal has restrictions on the frequency and minimum length of time that you can rent your property. Please refer to the Rental Policy link on this page.
IRRIGATION RESTRICTIONS
Current water restrictions in Lee County limit the days and times for landscape and lawn watering.
Watering is allowed only before 9 am or after 5 pm. No watering is allowed between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm. Violators are subject to fines levied by the county.
Feb 1 through May 31: One day per week.
Odd-numbered properties: Saturday
Even-numbered properties: Sunday
June 1 through Jan 31: Two days per week.
Odd-numbered properties: Wednesday and/or Saturday
Even-numbered properties: Thursday and/or Sunday
